Oku Selatan – (SIN) – Asisten I Bidang Pemerintahan dan Kesejahteraan Rakyat Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu Selatan (OKUS), Joni Rafles, AP., M.Si., yang juga merupakan Plh. Sekretaris Daerah (Sekda) Kabupaten OKU Selatan menyerahkan bantuan kepada warga yang terdampak banjir di dusun 4 Desa Pelangki, Kecamatan Muara, Kabupaten OKU selatan, Sabtu (25/05/202) pagi.
Atas nama Pemerintah, Asisten I mengucapkan rasa suka yang mendalam atas musibah yang menimpa warga di sejumlah wilayah di OKU Selatan.
Dijelaskan bahwa bantuan ini akan diserahkan kepada warga lainnya yang terdampak bencana. Pasalnya, bencana ini khususnya tidak hanya terjadi di Dusun 4 Desa Pelangki, tapi juga terjadi di Kecamatan Simpang, yang mana diketahui total warga yang terdampak lebih dari 400 Kepala Keluarga.
Asisten I mengucapkan terimakasih dan mengapresiasi kesigapan dari pihak-pihak terkait baik dari unsur Pemerintah, TNI, Polri, Baznas dan pihak-pihak lainnya seperti Banks Sumsel Babel dalam membantu masyarakat. Mulai dari pendirian posko darurat, pembersihan material sisa bencana hingga penyaluran bantuan sosial.
Ditambahkan juga bahwa berdasarkan informasi dari BMKG, sejumlah wilayah di Provinsi Sumatera Selatan masih akan terjadi salah satunya di Kabupaten OKU selatan. Untuk itu, warga diimbau untuk senantiasa waspada khususnya yang tinggal di bantaran sungai.
“Semoga ini yang terakhir, namun tentunya warga harus senantiasa waspada khususnya yang tinggal di bantaran sungai. Karena informasi dari BMKG, akhir-akhir ini intensitas hujan masih tinggi sehingga diharapkan senantiasa waspada terhadap hal ini dan bisa dilakukan antisipasi,” ucapnya.
Hadir dalam kesempatan ini, Kabid Kedaruratan dan Logistik BPBD Sumatera Selatan, Sudirman, S.KM., M.Si., mengungkapkan, dalam beberapa waktu terakhir bencana melanda di beberapa wilayah di Provinsi Sumatera Selatan, salah satunya di Kabupaten OKU Selatan, Kabupaten OKU dan beberapa wilayah lainnya.
Untuk itu, atas nama Pemerintah Provinsi Sumatera Selatan ia mengucapkan rasa duka atas musibah yang terjadi. Ia juga mengucapkan Terimakasih atas kesigapan Pemerintah Kabupaten OKU Selatan, TNI, Polri yang membantu warga yang dilanda musibah.
“Info dari BMKG, diprediksi di beberapa kabupaten di Sumsel ini akan terjadi hujan deras jadi kami mengimbau kepada masyarakat khususnya yang tinggal di bantaran sungai untuk selalu waspada. Jika terjadi bencana segera koordinasi ke kepala desa atau pihak terkait atau melaporkan melalui aplikasi,” ungkapnya.
Kalaksa BPBD OKU Selatan, Koni Ramli, S.Pd., dalam laporannya menjelaskan bahwa terjadi 2 kali bencana yang cukup besar di OKU Selatan yang menyebabkan banjir dan merendam lebih dari 400 rumah warga.
“Ada dua kali kejadian, pertama pada 15 Mei malam karena curah hujan tinggi mengakibatkan permukiman terendam. Total 447 rumah terendam dan alhamdulillah paginya mulai surut. Dan tanggal 22 Mei kembali terjadi, dan ini lebih dramatis. Dan salah satu yang terdampak langsung adalah Desa Pelangki yang merendam 15 rumah, 1 rumah hanyut, ada 2 rusak berat, 2 sedang. Ada juga (bencana banjir) di kecamatan Simpang (Desa Tanjung Sari) ratusan rumah terendam,” tuturnya.
Ditambahkannya bahwa banjir ini tidak hanya merendam rumah warga, melainkan juga membuat ruas jalan provinsi terendam sehingga arus lalulintas sempat lumpuh. Termasuk longsor di ruas Jalan Muaradua-Ranau. Serta jembatan Sungai Keruh yang putus sehingga tidak bisa dilalui, serta jembatan gantung yang rubuh akibat diterjang arus air.
“Alhamdulillah berkat kerjasama yang baik bencana ini bisa cepat diatasi. Kami juga telah mendirikan tenda darurat sebagai upaya dalam membantu warga termasuk membantu membersihkan material sisa banjir/longsor. Dan Alhamdulillah hari ini warga sebagian sudah bisa tinggal di rumahnya, tapi memang ada banyak benda yang terbawa arus,” jelasnya.
Hadir pada penyaluran bantuan ini Kepala Dinas Sosial, Kepala Dinas Sat Pol PP, Kepala Dinas Pemadam Kebakaran, Camat Simpang, Camat Muaradua, para Kades dan Lurah, Ketua Baznas OKU Selatan serta tamu undangan lainnya.
