Karawang – Jawa Barat – (SIN) – Satuan Tugas Citarum Harum Sektor 16 di tiap-tiap Subsektor membersihkan sampah, rumput dan pohon yang tumbuh liar di bantaran Sungai Citarum di wilayah Sektor 16. Kamis (14/8–2024).
Dansektor 16 Kolonel Inf. Masrief mengatakan, pembersihan sampah terus dilakukan dengan terus melibatkan warga demi menjaga kebersihan dan terpeliharanya ekosistem Sungai Citarum di Wilayah Kecamatan Klari dan Ciampel.
“Kegiatan tetap terus kami lakukan meskipun dengan alat seadanya karena masih banyaknya sampah dan limbah, yang merusak kualitas air. Juga masih lemahnya kesadaran warga masyarakat akan pentingnya kebersihan sungai Citarum “, lanjutnya.
Seperti saat ini, sampah – sampah organik, maupun non organik, terutama sampah rumah tangga cukup mendominasi. Untuk mengurangi hal itu, Satgas melakukan komunikasi sosial dengan masyarakat.
Dansektor 16 menjelaskan, membersihkan bantaran sungai Citarum dari rumput dan ilalang agar bantaran sungai terlihat rapi dan indah.
“Diharapkan kepedulian warga dan mari bersama-sama menjaga kebersihan sungai Citarum dengan tidak membuang sampah sembarangan, dan untuk terus membangun pola pikir masyarakat akan pentingnya keberlangsungan sungai Citarum ini”, tutup Kolonel Inf. Masrief.
