Pringsewu – (SIN) – Judi online menjadi motif Kristianto (38), terapis pengobatan alternatif asal Pagelaran, Pringsewu, Lampung nekat menipu pasiennya dengan modus dapat menggandakan uang hingga milyaran.
Atas ulah tersangka, Jumadi (50) warga Kecamatan Pagelaran terpaksa harus kehilangan uang sebesar Rp.84 juta yang didapat dari hasil menjual sebidang sawah miliknya.
“Kebutuhan berjudi online jenis slot yang mendasari tersangka Kristianto hingga nekat melakukan penipuan terhadap korbannya,” ujar Kapolres Pringsewu AKBP Benny Prasetya pada Selasa (9/5/2023) siang
Dijelaskan Kapolres, tersangka selama ini memang dikenal sebagai terapis pengobatan alternatif, namun dirinya tidak memiliki keahlian untuk menggandakan uang.
“Kemampuan bisa menggandakan uang tersebut hanya dijadikan modus agar korban percaya dan mau mengikuti instruksinya,” ungkap Benny
Orang nomor satu di Polres Pringsewu ini menyebut jika pihaknya baru menerima satu laporan pengaduan dari masyarakat terkait kejadian tersebut.
“Sementara ini baru satu korban yang melapor, namun jika ada korban-korban lain diharapkan segera melapor ke kantor Kepolisian terdekat,” imbuhnya
Mantan Kasubdit Gakkum Ditlantas Polda Lampung ini mengungkapkan, Jika uang Rp.110 juta dari korban, Rp.26 juta telah ditukarkan di bank dalam bentuk kertas pecahan mulai dari seribu hingga sepuluh ribuan dan dipergunakan untuk memperlancar aksi penggandaan uang.
“Sementara sisanya Rp.84 juta sudah habis dipergunakan untuk bermain judi online jenis slot,” ungkapnya.
Lebih lanjut ia menyampaikan, tersangka penipuan telah dilakukan penahanan di rutan Polsek Pagelaran Polres Pringsewu dan dijerat dengan pasal 372 Jo pasal 378 KUHP tentang penipuan dan penggelapan dengan ancaman hukuman empat tahun penjara.
Kapolres Pringsewu juga kembali mengimbau masyarakat untuk waspada dan tidak mudah percaya terhadap seseorang yang mengaku-ngaku bisa menggandakan uang.
Menurut Benny, aksi kejahatan seperti itu sudah sering terjadi dan hanya dijadikan modus untuk memperoleh keuntungan pribadi.
“Kami imbau untuk waspada dan tidak mudah percaya dengan hal semacam itu karena sudah pasti penipuan,” tandasnya.
Diberitakan sebelumnya, Polsek Pagelaran Polres Pringsewu berhasil mengungkap dan mengamankan seorang pelaku penipuan berkedok penggandaan.
Pelaku penipuan, Kristianto (38) warga kecamatan Pagelaran ini diringkus polisi ditempat pelariannya di wilayah kecamatan Sendang agung Kabupaten Lampung Tengah pada pada Rabu sore (3/5/2023) sekira puku Wib
Kronologis kejadian berawal saat korban bernama Jumadi (50 tahun), warga Pekon Candiretno, Kecamatan Pagelaran yang mengeluh sakit lambung, berobat kepada pelaku yang diketahui memiliki keahlian pengobatan alternatif.
Lantaran dalam pengobatan tersebut ada banyak perubahan, korban mulai percaya dengan keahlian pelaku, hingga kemudian pelaku mengiming-imingi korban dapat menggandakan uang hingga milyaran, sehingga korban terperdaya dan kemudian menuruti setiap petunjuk dari pelaku.
Akhirnya pada (9/11/2022) pelaku menyerahkan uang Rp.110 juta untuk digandakan menjadi Milyaran rupiah.
Setelah syarat lengkap lalu pada (21/11/2022) pelaku dan korban melakukan ritual penggandaan uang dirumah korban, namun korban hanya boleh membuka karung media penggandaan uang pada keesokan harinya.
Lalu keesokan harinya saat korban membuka karung hanya menemukan uang sebesar Rp.26 juta dalam bentuk pecahan uang kertas mulai dari seribuan hingga dua puluh ribu rupiah.
Mengetahui nilai uang tidak sesuai janji, korban kemudian berupaya menghubungi pelaku namun nomor HP sudah tidak aktif dan saat di cari dirumahnya ternyata pelaku sudah kabur.
Sadar telah menjadi korban penipuan, korban lalu melaporkan kejadian tersebut kepada pihak Kepolisian.
