Kebumen Jawa tengah – (SIN) – Selasa, 11/10/2022. Bencana alam tanah longsor dan banjir bandang yang melanda Desa Wadasmalang, Kecamatan Karangsambung, Kebumen, memantik keprihatinan banyak pihak termasuk Polres Kebumen.
Kapolres Kebumen AKBP Burhanuddin bersama dengan pejabat utama Polres meninjau langsung lokasi bencana dan memberikan bantuan sosial kepada warga yang masih mengungsi.
Beberapa warga yang masih mengungsi baik di rumah tetangga ataupun di tempat penampungan diberikan motivasi oleh Kapolres Kebumen.
“Tetap semangat, kami semua bersama dengan Bapak Ibu sekalian. Semoga bantuan yang tak seberapa ini dapat sedikit membantu,” jelas AKBP Burhanuddin di sela kegiatan peninjauan lokasi bencana longsor dan banjir.
Parahnya banjir yang diakibatkan oleh luapan Sungai Kedungbener membuat sebagian warga harus tetap bertahan di pengungsian.
Beberapa personel Polres Kebumen serta TNI terlihat ikut membaur bersama dengan warga di dapur umum, menyiapkan makanan.
Dalam peristiwa itu, satu warga Desa Wadasmalang, Kecamatan Karangsambung, Kabupaten Kebumen, meninggal hanyut terseret banjir bandang Sungai Kedungbener.
Korban atas nama Samijaya (70), ditemukan di bawah pintu air Pleret, Dukuh Wonoresik, Desa Wonosari, Kecamatan Kebumen, atau sekitar 20,7 kilometer dari lokasi kejadian pada, Minggu (09/10/2022) sekitar pukul 16.00 WIB.
Banjir disebabkan tersumbatnya Sungai Kedungbener karena material longsor. Informasi yang dapat dihimpun, banjir juga merusak sedikitnya 9 rumah dan belasan rumah lainnya.
Bencana banjir dipicu hujan dengan intensitas lebat sejak Sabtu (08/10/2022) sore. Air sungai tiba-tiba meluap ke perkampungan ketika tebing sungai di RT 06/RW 01, longsor hingga menutup aliran sungai pada sekitar pukul 21.00 WIB.
Arus sungai yang mengalir sangat deras di perkampungan, memorak-porandakan 9 rumah yang tidak jauh dari sungai, dan belasan rumah lainnya terdampak banjir bandang yang membawa lumpur dan kotoran. Sembilan rumah di RT 06/RW 01 yang rusak, milik Munir, Sutoyo, Heri (36), Maryam (55), Mustolih (50), Muanip, Haryanto (55), Ratimin (40), dan Slamet (28). Kondisi terparah, rumah milik Munir karena sampai tertimbun longsor.
Kepada Kapolres Kebumen, warga meminta untuk segera melakukan pembersihan longsoran tanah yang menyumbat aliran Sungai Kedungbener yang menjadi faktor utama bencana.
Namun karena intensitas hujan yang masih tinggi, tim gabungan belum bisa melakukan hal tersebut karena alasan keselamatan.
“Kita tunggu cuaca membaik, debit air berkurang, nanti sama-sama kita lakukan pembersihan tanah yang menyumbat aliran sungai. Kalau saat ini masih berbahaya. Jadi kita tunggu hingga aman,” ungkap AKBP Burhanuddin : Humas Polres Kebumen.
