Politisi Muda Ini Dikabarkan Dilirik H. Aep Sebagai Cawabup di Pilkada 2024

Karawang-Jabar – (SIN) – Mendekati masa pendaftaran pasangan calon (paslon) Bupati dan Wakil Bupati ke KPU Karawang untuk Pilkada Karawang 2024 ini adanya kejutan-kejutan dari calon kontestan masih terbuka lebar.

Sang petahana H. Aep Syaepuloh dikabarkan melirik politisi muda sekaligus seorang pengusaha H. Ahmad Ardiansyah untuk dijadikan wakilnya maju di Pilkada Karawang 2024.

Djiard, sapaan akrabnya, bukan sosok kaleng-kaleng. Putra dari seorang pengusaha dan politikus terkenal H. Ali Mukaddas ini pernah menjadi legislator DPRD Karawang periode 2014-2019. Ia juga pernah memimpin DPC Partai Hanura Kabupaten Karawang.

Pada Pemilu 2024, ia mencoba nyaleg di Dapil 1 Karawang melalui PDIP. Meski belum lolos lantaran perolehan suaranya beda tipis dengan petahana Natala Sumedha, Djiard tetap diperhitungkan sebagai politisi ulung.

Para media berupaya meminta penjelasan kabar tersebut secara langsung ke Djiard.

“Ada dua hal yang perlu saya sampaikan,” ucapnya, Sabtu (17/8/–2024).

Pertama, dari awal sebenarnya dirinya tidak pernah memiliki niatan untuk maju di Pilkada 2024. Tetapi ketika ada peluang, maka segala sesuatu dalam politik bisa saja terjadi.

“Niat sih enggak, tetapi kalau minat iya (maksudnya menjadi calon wakil bupati mendampingi H. Aep Syaepulloh),” ujarnya.

Kedua, meskipun dari awal tidak mendapatkan mandataris dari PDI Perjuangan untuk maju di Pilkada 2024, tetapi Djiard mengaku ada partai politik lain yang mendorongnya untuk menjadi calon wakil bupati dari calon petahana.

“Terus info partai, saya kader PDI Perjuangan dan dilirik partai lain (untuk nyalon di pilkada,” tutupnya.
