Menurut keterangan para saksi yang melihat kejadian. Sekda beserta istri dan sopir langsung dilarikan ke Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah (RSUD) Sukadana Kabupaten Lampung Timur. Untuk mendapatkan penangananb medis.

”Posisi lampu kami hijau, lalu sopir melaju, tanpa disangka ada kendaraan lain yang juga melaju dari arah memotong, kemudian sopir membanting setir menghindari mobil tersebut kemudian terjadilah kecelakan dan saya tidak ingat lagi karna panik, bahkan yang membangunkan saya dari kendaraan saya saja tidak mengetahuinya,” ungkapnya dengan nada gemetar.
Dari pantauan media di RSUD Sukadana. Sekda, istri dan sopir tidak mengalami luka serius, akan tetapi Sekda Lampung Timur, tampak dironsen karena kepalanya terbentur, tampak beberapa pejabat Lampung Timur ikut hadir dalam pemeriksaan Sekda di RS Sukadana.
