Pringsewu – (SIN) – Untuk mengatasi kemacetan yang kerap terjadi saat menjelang dan pasca Idhul Fitri, Satuan Lalulintas Polres Pringsewu Polda lampung kembali mengaktifkan Satuan Tugas (Satgas) Urai Kemacetan.
Kasat Lantas Polres Pringsewu AKP Khoirul Bahri menyebutkan, jika satgas urai itu telah dibentuk sejak 2019 yang beranggotakan belasan personel dari Satuan Lalu Lintas dengan tugas mengurai kemacetan dan melakukan rekayasa lalu lintas.
Menurut Kasat, Tim urai dibekali sepeda motor dan akan bergerak secara mobile ke sejumlah titik rawan kemacetan di diwilayah Bumi jejama secancanan.
“Tim ini selalu ready dan siap bergerak kapan saja diperlukan,” ujar Kasat Lantas mewakili Kapolres Pringsewu AKBP Benny Prasetya melalui release Humasnya pada Kamis (20/04/2023) siang.
Ia berharap, tim itu mampu mengurai kemacetan dan meminimalisasi pelanggaran lalu lintas demi menekan angka kecelakaan di wilayah tersebut khususnya pada momen arus mudik dan balik lebaran 2023.
Lebih lanjut, demi keamanan dan keselamatan dalam perjalanan, Kasat Lantas mengimbau para pengguna jalan terutama para pemudik agar berhati-hati dan tertib berlalu lintas dan mematuhi instruksi petugas dilapangan.
Selain itu Khoirul juga meminta pengemudi untuk tidak memaksakan diri berkendara jika dalam keadaan lelah atau mengantuk. Hal itu agar terhindari potensi kecelakaan lalu lintas.
“Ya kami imbau agar selalu berhati, hati, jangan kebut-kebutan dan jadikan lebaran tahun ini menjadi mudik yang aman dan berkesan.” tandasnya.
