MUARADUA – (SIN) – Wakil Bupati OKU Selatan H. Sholehien Abuasir, SP.,M.Si. Usai mengikuti rangkaian pelaksanaan Upacara Peringatan HUT ke-79 Kemerdekaan RI Tahun 2024 dan Ziarah ke Taman Makam Pahlawan, selanjutnya melaksanakan giat pemberian atau penyerahan secara simbolis SK remisi umum Hari Kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia Tahun 2024 kepada sejumlah Narapidana dan Anak Binaan di Lapas Kelas IIB Muaradua, Sabtu (17/08/2024).
Dalam kesempatan ini Kepala Lapas Kelas IIB Muaradua, Reza Yudhistira Kurniawan, Amd.Ip.,S.H.,M.Si., dalam laporannya menyampaikan bahwa Warga Binaan Pemasyarakatan (WBP) yang diberikan remisi umum dalam rangka peringatan hari ulang tahun proklamasi kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia, 17 Agustus 2024 yang Ke-79 adalah yang memenuhi persyaratan sebagai berikut, telah menjalani pindana 6 bulan / lebih, berkelakuan baik mentaati peraturan yang berlaku, mendapatkan remisi tambahan apabila berjasa pada negara, melakukan perbuatan bermanfaat bagi negara dan kemanusiaan dan melakukan kegiatan pembinaan di lembaga pemasyarakatan dan rumah tahanan negara.
“Jumlah pidana yang mendapatkan remisi umum pada HUT ke-79 Kemerdekaan RI Tahun 2024, berjumlah 4 orang narapidana bebas hari ini karena mendapat remisi umum, dan berjumlah 269 orang dengan rincia : Remisi 1 bulan 54 orang, Remisi 2 bulan 56 orang, Remisi 3 bulan 77 orang, Remisi 4 bulan 64 orang, Remisi 5 bulan 21 orang dan Remisi 6 bulan 1 orang.
Wakil Bupati OKU Selatan dalam kesempatan ini membacakan sambutan Menkumham, menyampaikan bahwa Kementerian Hukum Dan Ham Memiliki Peran Aktif Dalam Mewujudkan Supremasi Dan Stabilitas Hukum Dalam Rangka Melindungi Seluruh Lapisan Masyarakat Tanpa Adanya Intervensi Oleh Dan Dari Pihak Manapun Termasuk Oleh Penyelenggara Negara, Salah Satunya Melalui Peran Pemasyarakatan Sebagai Bagian Dari Subsistem Peradilan Pidana Yang Menyelenggarakan Penegakan Hukum Di Bidang Perlakuan Terhadap Tahanan, Anak, Dan Warga Binaan.
Maka Dari itu, Saya juga berpesan Agar Peringatan Kemerdekaan Ke-79 Republik Indonesia Tahun 2024 Ini, Kita Jadikan Sebagai Momentum Untuk Lebih Meningkatkan Kualitas Pelayanan Secara Berkala Sesuai Kebutuhan Dan Harapan Masyarakat. Peningkatan Kualitas Pelayanan Publik Dilakukan Untuk Membangun Kepercayaan Masyarakat Terhadap Penyelenggara Pelayanan Publik Dalam Rangka Peningkatan Kesejahteraan Masyarakat.
Bertempat di Lapas Kelas IIB Muaradua, Selain Bupati dan Wakil Bupati, pemberian remisi ini juga turut dihadiri oleh FKPD, Sekda, Para Staf Ahli, Ketua Pengadilan Agama, Kakan Kemenag, Para Kepala OPD, Polres Muaradua, Ketua Kwarcab Pramuka OKUS, Kepala KCP BNI Muaradua, BSI, Serta Undangan Lainnya.
