Acara Pemberian Anugerah Pandu Negeri (APN) merupakan ajang pemberian penghargaan bagi Pemerintah Daerah Provinsi, Kabupaten/Kota dan Kabupaten/ Kota Wilayah 3 T (Daerah Tertinggal, Terdepan dan Terluar) dengan Kinerja dan Governansi.

Ketua Umum ICCD dan IIPG Rudiantara yang juga mantan Menteri Komunikasi dan Informatika Republik Indonesia menyampaikan, Anugerah Pandu Negeri diberikan berdasarkan hasil penilaian praktik Governansi secara independen tanpa intervensi walaupun IIPG yang memberikan penghargaan namun ada tim Independen yang melakukan penilaian, Checks and Balances dan Check in Recheck dengan mengedepankan prinsip Independensi, Transparansi, Rensponsiveness, Participation dan Accountability.

Boediono, menyampaikan bahwa sejak berdirinya IIPG tahun 2017 kami telah beberapa kali menyelenggarakan APN ini, dan tahun 2024 merupakan yang ke-4 kalinya, dimana sejak Covid- 19 tahun 2020 sampai tahun 2023 tidak diselenggarakan, dan tujuan penyelenggaraan kegiatan ini untuk mendukung dan mengemangati Pemerintah Daerah agar senantiasa menyelenggarakan praktik-praktik Governansi yang baik.

Pemberian Anugerah Pandu Negeri ini telah dinilai oleh Tim Independen dengan Aspek Penilaian, yakni Aspek Governansi dengan unsur yakni Tata Kelola Keuangan, Tata Kelola Pemerintahan dan Anti Korupsi, dan Aspek Kinerja meliputi unsur Laju PDRB, Rasio antara PAD terhadap APBD, Nilai IPM dan Program Inovasi Daerah,”ungkap Boediono.
